Germany grants 8.3b kip to bolster food security in Xieng Khuang

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) in cooperation with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency Germany (ADRA) has granted more than 8.3 billion kip (US$961,493) to fund a three-year food security and livelihoods project in Phoukoud district, Xieng Khuang province.
A Memorandum of Understanding on the project was signed recently in Xieng Khuang province between ADRA Country Director, Ms Gill Grolimund, and the Director of the Xieng Khuang provincial Agriculture and Forestry Department, Mr Bounhome Thedthany.
