Lao NA backs govt efforts to address national challenges
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Lao National Assembly yesterday approved a number of resolutions, providing strong legal back up for the government to address challenges in land management, reforestation and human resource development in the country.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 7th session of the 8th legislature of the Lao National Assembly in Vientiane yesterday, the assembly president, Mrs Pany Yathotou said the conference had adopted seven resolutions, which aimed to provide legal back up for the government and judiciary to perform their duty.
