Govt experts meet to improve pesticide management

Rural people’s difficulty in accessing information and the lack of coordination between government levels and agencies were identified as reasons for continuing pesticide misuse, according to a leading official.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Mr Bounkhouang Khambounheuang made the remarks at a workshop in Vientiane recently regarding the New Prime Ministerial Decree on Pesticide Management (PDPM).
