Motorists warned to avoid Kasy-Nan road
Road users are being warned to avoid the section of road running from Kasy district, Vientiane province to Nan district in Luang Prabang province which has become slippery and affected by landslides. Director of Vientiane provincial Public Works and Transport Department, Mr Soumountha Somchanmavong told Vientiane Times yesterday the recent heavy rain has made conditions hazardous and very slippery in the wake of several landslides along a 500-metre section of the Kasy district to Nan district road.
