Laos drops 13 places in global ease-of-doing-business ranking
Laos has dropped 13 places to 154th in the global ease-of-doing-business (EODB) rankings despite the government’s efforts to improve the business environment.
The country’s EODB score was 51.26 this year, up by 0.11 on last year, according to the World Bank’s latest annual EODB ranking index which surveyed 190 economies worldwide. The rankings were published on the Bank’s website on Wednesday.
