Lao Food Festival 2019 Launched
(KPL) Many local residents and foreigners turned out at Chao Anouvong Park on Jan 23 for the 14th Lao Food Festival which has drawn more than 180 booths of local and foreign cuisines, agricultural products and handicrafts.
Scheduled for Jan 23-26, starting from 8:00 am to 10.00 pm, the festival aims to promote the conservation of Lao traditional cuisines and related cultures, attract foreign visitors, especially from ASEAN to visit the Lao PDR, and create more opportunities for female entrepreneurs in the food business sector to introduce their products and services, according to the President of the Lao Women’s Business Association Chantachone Vongsay.
