Customs brought up to speed on new IP information system in Laos

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Customs officials have gained an understanding of a new information system to protect intellectual property (IP) in the country as part of the Lao PDR-US International and Asean Integration (USAID LUNA II) project.

Speaking at the launch of the new information system in Vientiane this week, Deputy Director of International Customs Cooperation Division under the Ministry of Finance, Mr Khampene Sichanthalath said the workshop would serve to orientate customs officials in the new system.
