New website offers hope for job seekers, employers in Laos
People who are out of work or employers seeking new recruits can now register on the www.lmi.molws.gov.la website, which has been set up by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.
The site will assist people to find work with private companies in Laos or in other countries.
Director of the Statistics Division at the ministry’s Department of Planning and Cooperation, Mr Suthanu Butphomvihane, told Vientiane Times yesterday the ministry had set up the website as a platform to connect job seekers and employers in the hope of lowering the unemployment rate.
