Vientiane looks to boost use of Lao-made products, enhance consumer protection
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Authorities in Vientiane intend to promote the use of Lao-made goods and encourage the cultivation of organically farmed agricultural produce in the capital to create jobs and generate income.
These issues were discussed at a meeting held on Saturday at the Vientiane Industry and Commerce Department and the meeting was presided over by the Vice Mayor of Vientiane, Dr Athsaphangthong Siphandone.
