Tourism development an uphill battle in Xaysomboun
Xaysomboun province is still facing many challenges to get tourist attractions up to speed and attract more visitors to the province. Tourist attraction development has faced challenges from insufficient infrastructure, especially poor roads linking towns to districts, districts to villages and villages to tourism sites, provincial information, culture and tourism department official Mr Somdavy Khammeungkhun told Vientiane Times on Thursday.
