Solar power on the cards for Thakhaek specific economic zone of Laos
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Lao authorities have given the go-ahead for a Chinese company to conduct surveys with a view to building a solar power plant at the Thakhaek Specific Economic Zone in Khammuan province.
Total investment in the project is more than 385 billion kip (US$45 million), with funding being provided by Hainan-Edentour GmbH Co., Ltd. of China.
