Savannakhet upgrading three iconic tourist sites
Following Savannakhet’s declaration of Kaysone Phomvihane district as a city in May, the province is upgrading popular tourism sites in three districts in a bid to attract more visitors. The three sites earmarked for improvement are Dong Natad National Protected Area in Kaysone Phomvihane city, the Monkey Forest (Dongling) of Champhon district and the historic Stone House (Heuan Hin) in Xayphouthong district.
