Parliament to debate 13 draft laws
Lawmakers will debate 13 draft laws at the upcoming 5th Ordinary Session of the National Assembly (NA)’s 8th Legislature, making further progress on the path to building Laos as a state ruled by law. Scheduled to take place from June 5-28, the debate session, which is held biannually, will deliberate five newly-drafted laws and draft amendments to eight laws, the NA’s Secretary General Mrs Suansavanh Vignaket told a press conference yesterday.
