Environment officials in Laos strengthen their hand against forestry, wildlife crime

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Environment police and officials from the south of the country met recently in Champassak province for training in the enforcement of new laws which aim to combat the trade in illegal wildlife and other illegal forest activities.

The two-day workshop took place from April 8-9 at the Champassak Palace Hotel. It was attended by officials from the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Champassak province.
