Troops withdrawn from unsettled Laos-Cambodia border area

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Laos and Cambodia have pulled back their troops from an unsettled border area in Mounlapamok district, Champassak province, with the operation completed within the planned timeframe.

The pullback took place in line with the agreement reached by military delegations from the two countries on August 27, requiring the removal of troops from the Haikhao area at the geographic location designated E0523410, N1579776.
