Storm wreaks havoc in Xayaboury
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Almost 50 houses in four villages of Xayaboury district, Xayaboury province, were damaged by strong winds and heavy rain when a storm swept through the provincial capital last week.
Deputy Director of the Labour and Social Welfare Office in Xayaboury district, Mrs Bounthan Khamsing, told Vientiane Times on Friday that the storm began on the evening of February 28.
