Oudomxay ramps up efforts to become a tourist hotspot
OUDOMXAY, Laos (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Oudomxay authorities are accelerating their attempts to put the province on the tourism map and improve the attractiveness of various locations so that the area features more highly on visitors’ itineraries.
Deputy Director of the province’s Information, Culture and Tourism Department, Mr Bounkuan Mitmeuangxay, told Vientiane Times on Monday that the authorities are planning improvements at the Nam Kat Yorla Pa resort, and Vat Pha Chao Sing Kham and Vat Phou That Lattanamingmeuang temples.
