Laos to upgrade trade facilitation framework to global standards

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The government will upgrade the trade facilitation framework to international standards by May, a top official informed a workshop on Friday.

The improvement will be based on the principles, requirements, and conditions outlined in the framework of the Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade (SAFE) of the World Customs Organisation and the Trade Facilitation Agreement of the World Trade Organisation (WTO-TFA).
