Laos accelerating efforts to facilitate trade: DPM
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Laos is in need of intensive cooperation amongst all parties concerned to promote various key measures to boost its world ranking in ease of doing business after the government was unable to meet its target.
Last year, the government had committed to raising its ranking in the global of ease of doing business assessment. But there was a significant drop in ranking and Laos was placed 141st in the global rankings in 2018, falling to 154th this year out of 190 countries.
