Lao Ministry mandates quality standards for sweetcorn crop to boost exports

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Lao sweetcorn products should attract more buyer interest in the regional market now that official standards and grading will be applied to the crop.

The Ministry of Science and Technology announced that national standards would be introduced so that the crop’s quality could be assessed.
