Lao Govt to facilitate export businesses
The government has removed some export businesses from its list of controlled businesses as part of efforts to boost the export of Lao goods to foreign markets, according to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The ministry announced recently that the government no longer regarded the export of general consumer goods as controlled businesses. This means the exporters of these goods do not need to obtain permission from the authorities before engaging in this type of work.
