Government bonds to be traded on Lao Securities Exchange in December
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The government has announced a new bond offering worth more than 1,287 billion kip ($142 million) for the Lao Securities Exchange (LSX) this month.
Following the previous bond offering worth 1,700 billion kip in September, bonds worth 412.57 billion kip were sold out after several months of LSX trade and the remainder are scheduled for trade from December 18-24, with payment of interest twice a year, according to information provided at a news conference in Vientiane yesterday.
