Laos vows to closely monitor loans to SMEs
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The government is closely monitoring the management of loans given to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to ensure they are used wisely and profitably.
Speaking at the annual meeting of the finance sector earlier this month, Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith said the government is keen to monitor all SME projects that have received loans from banks and were funded by the government.
