Lao police officer accused of drunken hit-and-run
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Members of the public have taken to social media to express their disapproval after a police officer was apparently filmed driving away from the scene of a traffic accident he was involved in.
A video circulating on Facebook shows the officer’s Toyota Revo with the government number plate ກກ 4668 involved in a collision with a motorcycle and later being pursued by traffic police on motorbikes after fleeing the scene.
