Lao Law students get lessons in regional diplomacy
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Students from the Faculty of Law and Political Science, National University of Laos, took part in discussions and learnt about regional issues under the Model Asean Meeting (MAM) programme held in Vientiane on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Assoc. Prof. Bounthieng Phommachanh, said the programme was an ongoing initiative by the Asean Foundation to give university students a better understanding of diplomacy and how decision makers in Asean Member States address regional issues at Asean Summits and other important meetings.
