Lao designer to be honoured with Italian design award

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Lao designer Douangmany Heuangkhamsene (Tookta) and the ‘Her Works’ label will receive a prestigious fashion design award at a ceremony to be held in Italy this month.

Ms Douangmany told Vientiane Times she will receive the Iron A’ Design Award from the International Design Academy, with the ceremony to take place on June 28 at the Teatro Sociale Como in Piazza Verdi, Italy.
