Lao business operators learn about benefits of free trade agreements

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Lao businesses will be better able to expand their markets and compete with other countries more aggressively after being educated on the conditions and benefits of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).

A seminar held in Vientiane on Thursday discussed the benefits of FTAs and engaging in e-commerce. Nearly 100 business representatives, including from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vientiane and officials from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and others attended.
