Attapeu continues support for dam collapse victims

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Attapeu province authorities have vowed ongoing support to meet the daily needs of people who were made homeless after the dam collapse along with frequent consultation to assess their requirements.

The province’s Deputy Governor, Mr Ounlar Xayyasith, said yesterday they plan to continue providing 20kg of rice per person each month until crop production returns to normal.
